Poland & Kashmir in The New Yorker

I love my new library. It's not new, actually I am new there. Before I was using main library. It's good, but overcrowded. The City made decision that they will build new one and I am exited by this outcome. However this small library I am using now, is very cute. Librarians are very helpful and friendly too.

I took some issues of "The New Yorker", some book for improving writing skills and some more stuff to read. I never read The New Yorker before. There were a lot of interesting articles. Only some of them was not understandable for me, I guess because they speak to other audience, people who know more about US then I do.

Very interesting is article about the background of the film "Katyn". I knew Poland was occupied by Hitler and I knew that they lived later under Soviet Union, but I never thought about what it meant. I never made my conclusions. So film is trying to show Poland in hands of two dictators and tell the truth, which was long stored in soviet lies. Here trailer:

Second interesting article is about Kashmir, so about India and Pakistan. It's very long article and worth to read if you are interested with the issue. Do you like these articles too?
